Kill Booth Theme - Final

This is the FINAL version of the Kill Booth theme, which will be heard during the opening titles sequence of the movie. Composed by AJ Pinkerton, Arranged by Peter Srinivasan, Vocals by Lora Rivera. Feel free to contact me for an MP3 version of the song.

LYRICS:

He's got a bullet in his head,
and a heart that's refusing to die!

His life was hanging by a thread;
now he's got some revenge on his mind!

He's a man who will fight
for early civil rights,
And he'll never back down from the truth!

There's a look in his eye
that you'll see when you die,
but first, he's gonna kill Booth!

Kill Booth!
Kill Booth!
Kill Booth!

He stands for liberty and peace,
with a sword at his side, he's machine.

He'll kill a thousand men with ease,
and he'll do it without being seen.

If you screw with his plan,
then you'll die like a man,
with his sword through your spine, left aloof.

And this country will say,
when they speak of this day,
that Honest Abe came back to kill Booth!

Kill Booth!
Kill Booth!
Kill Booth!

Kill Booth Theme - MIDI Version

This is the current version of the KILL BOOTH theme. Meant to sound like a traditional James Bond movie opening theme, this track will eventually be fully realized with instrumentation and a catchy set of lyrics! For now, however, it's just a temporary MIDI version. Composed by AJ Pinkerton.

P.S. I'll be sure to post the lyrics as soon as they're finalized. :)

A Quick Introduction

Hello all! This is writer/director Nathan Morse here and welcome to the production blog for my film KILL BOOTH. Though the project won't be into the PRODUCTION stages until January/February 2010, there's still PRE-PRODUCTION to be done! So, before you get into checking out any updates, let me answer a few quick questions:

1) What is KILL BOOTH?

KILL BOOTH is planned as an action film that parodies Kill Bill Volumes 1 & 2. After surviving the attempt on his life, Abraham Lincoln goes after John Wilkes Booth (along with four other conspirators) in order to exact his own brand of justice. The movie promises lots of action and clever references to other films/television shows (Kill Bill being the primary spoofing source).

2) Why?

The idea for it came up a few years ago and after a failed attempt at trying to make it in Spring 2008, I finally decided that it should be the film I make as my final production at Ithaca College.

Feel free to contact me with any other questions you may have. Enjoy the blog!
