Kill Booth (Special Edition)

As promised, a SPECIAL EDITION version of "Kill Booth" is currently in the works! What's different about this version, you ask? Well, let me tell you!

1. Completely remastered dialogue track!
2. Completely new mix of SoundFX/Foley!
3. Very very minor picture changes that you won't even notice!

Basically, the movie will pretty much LOOK the same, but will SOUND far superior to the original copy of the film! This new and amazing audio work will be done by none other than our resident SOUND WIZARD: Peter Srinivasan!

So, when can you get your hands on a copy?

The "Kill Booth (Special Edition)" will be available online to view and for digital download on PRESIDENT'S DAY 2011 (Feb. 21st)!

Kill Booth Premiere - Great Success!

The screening for KILL BOOTH went very well! Thanks to everyone who showed up and a very very special thanks to the entire cast and crew of the project. It turned out awesome.

Also, if you're interested in a DVD copy of the film, you have two options:

1) If you're on Ithaca College's campus during Senior Week, just get ahold of me and stop by my dorm sometime and I'll give you one.

2) If you're not at IC, e-mail me at inscape.entertainment@gmail.com with your home address and I'll get around to sending you one once I'm back home after graduation.

Once again, many thanks to everyone involved in the creation of KILL BOOTH. I had a great time making it and enjoyed working with all of you.

First and foremost, Kill Booth will be printed onto Blu-ray as the screener/director's copy. In terms of home viewing, Kill Booth will be primarily released for *free* on DVD, but will also have a limited release on Blu-ray for those willing to shell out the cash for a BD-R.

It's BIG UPDATE time!

It's been awhile since our last update! The big news is that KILL BOOTH simultaneously picture wrapped and picture locked on the same day (Wednesday, May 5th). At this point in time, all that's left for the editing phase is to add a tremendous amount of sound effects in and to do color correction. As deemed by the powers above, the entire picture must be finished and ready to be handed off on Thursday (May 13th). Afterwards, we must simply await the WORLD PREMIERE SCREENING on Saturday, May 15th at 7PM in the Park School of Communications Auditorium. Until that time comes, I've put together a short video about one of the "running gags" that continually showed its face during production.

One of the running gags on set was what kind of humorous songs we could use during the "scrolling" credits section at the end of KILL BOOTH. The following is a video showing the three songs that were mentioned most during production.

Join us on Saturday, May 15th @ 7PM in Park Auditorium for the WORLD PREMIERE of KILL BOOTH! There, you'll hear the ORIGINAL SCORE (by Dave Volpe) that's featured throughout the film, including over the "scrolling" credits section!

Mary Surratt Fight - Production Stills (4/11/2010)

Over the weekend we got to shoot our most bloody and intense fight scene yet! Shot on location at the Pinkerton's Barn in Marathon, the duel between Abraham Lincoln and Mary Surratt left the floorboards drenched with puddles of fake blood and our actors (and some crew) covered in it. However, the footage looks amazing and will surely be an epic sight to see during the final film. For now, though, you'll just have to settle with looking at some production stills.

Kill Booth - Poster Campaign

The KILL BOOTH marketing/poster campaign has begun! Since our film is inspired primarily by Kill Bill Vol. 1 & 2 and the James Bond series, it seemed fitting that our promotional posters be direct references to already existing ones. So, take a look at our "marketing" campaign and enjoy! Posters by Ashley Alicea.

David Herold Fight - Production Stills (3/28/2010)

Shooting yet again at the 1890 House, our second day involved the pre-title sequence fight, which is against David Herold. All in all, everything went quite well and we finished much earlier than yesterday. For now, KILL BOOTH takes a break from MAJOR shooting until April 10th. The next few weeks will see a few smaller scenes shot, along with intense fight choreography work on the final battle between Abe and Booth. For now, enjoy more production stills!
